Mommy Hyena

We came across this female hyena, what struck us most was her peculiar behavior; she lay stretched out in front of the den’s entrance, seemingly trying to conceal her presence and that of her pups within. In a moment that felt both surreal and comical, she even appeared to cover her face with a paw, as if to say “You can’t see me.”
